Additionally, passengers are allowed 1 piece of hand luggage per person. The total luggage weight per cabin should not exceed 90 kg or 8 suitcases, considering all passengers in the same cabin. Luggage exceeding this allowance will not be accepted at check-in.
Specific Luggage Rules:
Cruises up to 7 nights: Passengers are allowed to bring one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person.
Cruises of more than 14 nights: Passengers can bring a maximum of three suitcases along with one piece of hand luggage per person.
Flight Travel Considerations:
If your trip includes a flight, it's important to review the weight policy provided by the airline to avoid any issues.
First Day on the Cruise:
For your convenience on the first day of the cruise, pack a change of clothes, a bathing suit, exercise attire, and all necessary medications in your hand luggage. This way, you won't have to wait for your checked luggage to be delivered to your cabin.
Clothing Recommendations:
During your cruise, we recommend wearing light or sports clothing and comfortable, low-heeled shoes for everyday activities on board. For gala nights, which are held during each cruise, we suggest more elegant evening attire (no tuxedo or tie required) and a white garment for the White Party. When disembarking at ports, sportswear and comfortable shoes are advised. It's a good idea to keep a coat on hand to adjust to the temperature differences between air-conditioned indoor areas and outdoor environments. Please note that wearing a bathing suit is not allowed in the restaurant, buffet, or corridors. Instead, we request passengers to wear a bathing robe or T-shirt and sandals.

In case of a storm or hurricane, the cruise ship's captain closely monitors weather conditions through control rooms connected to meteorological centers. The captain will adjust the ship's route if needed to avoid potential risks and ensure passenger safety. Modern cruise ships are equipped to handle adverse weather, and itinerary changes may occur if certain ports become inaccessible due to weather conditions. The cruise line prioritizes passenger safety and will keep everyone informed throughout the process.
The following objects will not be admitted: Alcohol, firearms, illegal drugs, sharp objects such as knives or scissors, flammable and explosive material, electrical appliances such as clothes or hair irons, kettles, stoves, hair dryers, candles, incense, drones, etc.
These objects will be confiscated by the ship's security personnel and measures will be taken in this regard. These objects are allowed on board, but will be guarded by the ship's security personnel when not in use. Tampoco podrán introducirse a bordo bebidas ni alimentos.
To avoid any inconvenience or misunderstandings, we recommend that you do not carry these types of objects.
For safety reasons, pregnant women who have reached or exceeded 24 weeks of gestation at the end of the cruise are not allowed to board the ship.
If you are pregnant and wish to travel before reaching 24 weeks of gestation, you must provide a medical certificate or authorization from your healthcare provider. The certificate should include your estimated delivery/due date and a confirmation of good health. It is important to note that the cruise ships are not equipped to handle pregnancies or deliveries, so adequate medical clearance is necessary to ensure a safe journey for both you and your baby.
In general, many cruise lines have a minimum age requirement of 21 years for passengers to travel alone without a companion. However, age restrictions may vary depending on the cruise line and specific itineraries. It is essential to check the cruise line's policy on solo travel before booking to ensure you meet the minimum age requirement and can embark on the cruise ship independently.
The boarding process for a cruise can be a thrilling experience, especially if it's your first time. Here are some essential details to make your vacation smoother:
1. Arrival Time: Depending on the cruise line, it is advisable to arrive at the pier or cruise terminal 3 to 4 hours before the departure time.
2. Check-In: After dropping off your luggage, you will need to present your travel voucher and passports at the check-in counter. Crew members will be available to assist you in finding your cabin once you board the ship.
3. Cabin Introduction: Don't worry if your bags haven't arrived in your cabin yet; the stewards are working to deliver them promptly. Take this time to explore your cabin and familiarize yourself with its location on the deck plan.
4. Program and Dining Schedule: In your cabin, you will find a program listing the activities and shows for each day, as well as the dinner schedule. It's essential to visit the restaurant during the first hours on board to reconfirm your dinner timings and seating preferences.
5. Onboard Account: Visit the Front Desk to open your onboard account, as extra expenses are not included in the cruise fare. Similar to checking-in at a hotel, you will be required to provide a credit card for charging any additional expenses. At the end of your cruise, you can settle your account at the Front Desk.
6. Lunch and Buffet: Most cruise lines offer a buffet for lunch, and boarding typically takes place around noon.
7. Emergency Drill: Maritime laws mandate an emergency drill for passengers once embarkation is completed. Guests will be informed through the ship's public address system before the drill begins, and attendance is mandatory for all passengers.
8. Safety Information: Find a map behind your cabin door indicating your lifeboat number and emergency procedures in case of any unforeseen events. For further safety information, don't hesitate to reach out to the onboard crew.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure a smooth and enjoyable start to your cruise vacation. Have a wonderful trip!
Check-in and boarding times for cruises vary depending on each cruise line's schedule and policies. Modern cruise ship cabins offer private bathrooms with bathtubs or showers, electric outlets (110 or 220V), telephones for communication, dressing tables, safes, towels, bathroom amenities, televisions, and some may have mini-bars. Cabins typically have either lower or bunk beds based on occupancy and category.
When choosing a cabin on most cruise lines, you'll typically encounter four main categories: interior, exterior, balcony view, and suite.
1. Interior cabins: These are the smallest cabins and don't have windows, providing a cozy and cost-effective option.
2. Exterior cabins: Similar to interior cabins, they include at least one window, offering natural light and a view.
3. Balcony View cabins: These cabins come with a private balcony, which is often a popular choice among guests for enjoying scenic views and fresh air.
4. Suite cabins: The most spacious and luxurious option, suites come with additional amenities and benefits, such as exclusive front desk service.
Pricing within cabin categories is determined by two main factors: the total square footage of the cabin and its location on the ship. Depending on your preferences and budget, you can select the cabin category that best suits your needs and desires for your cruise vacation.
The classification of passengers as infants or children varies based on the cruise line's policy. Typically, infants are defined as those aged 0 to 2 years, while children fall within the age range of 2 to 11 years. When you request a quote or make a booking for your cruise, the system will promptly indicate whether the individuals you've listed are categorized as infants or children. It's important to note that many cruise lines permit guests to board starting from the age of six months.
All guests, including children, must carry valid personal and family documentation (passport or ID) as required by the countries visited. It is the guest's responsibility to obtain the necessary documents, including passports, visas, and vaccination certificates. Minors under 18 require written permission from parents or guardians. For international cruises, a valid passport is essential for all countries visited. Boarding is not allowed for children under 6 months or under 12 months on certain cruises. Ensure compliance with all requirements for a seamless boarding process.

Choosing a cruise line is very similar to choosing a hotel, as the decision is based on personal preference, budget, lifestyle, and amenities. Other passengers base their decision on the itinerary. On the “CRUISE LINES” tab, click on the link for more information on each cruise line. For a more sophisticated and welcoming experience, Celebrity Cruises, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, and Cunard are excellent options. In the event of an emergency, parents will be notified immediately via a paging device.
